some of my recent projects

I try to quilt.  I'm not all that great at it.  And I usually need my mom's help......she does the backing and basting and puts the binding on them....but I do the rest.

This year I have finished two quilts...a king sized quilt and a queen sized quilt and make two quilt tops.

I thought you might like to see them.

Master bedroom quilt.

Another quilt top...this one needs two more borders (Kate Spain Central Park in a disappearing nine patch)

I just bought more fabric and a friend has asked me to price out a lap quilt and a full sized quilt for her.  I would like to try to make some dresses and tops for the girls and me and make some ball pillows as well.

Pinterest, oh how I *heart* thee

I have become addicted to Pinterest.  Yes, I love the site.  I could sit for hours and hours viewing beautiful interiors, craft projects, style boards, etc.

I can get lost in it all.

Lately, I've been having some "issues" with my style.  Mostly because I need to loose weight and nothing fits and more.  And yes, I know I need to start exercising before this "issue" will go away I just haven't found the time for it (but that's a topic for another post).  Therefore, I am LOVING the Style Boards that I have found on other peoples Pinterest sites.

I mean, just look at these:










Now if I can only find inexpensive substitutes for these and room in my closet, I'd be happy camper.
